Good Morning

I was able to wake up early this morning and get in some exercise. It was a great feeling. Not so much with my foot, but great in every aspect besides that.

Before I left for work I was able to see you and baby Brielle come into the office before I left.

It was so great to see you two early in the morning and give you a good morning salutation.

You brighten my day. Love you.

Thursday

Thursday's are a great day. They are great because I know I only have one full day of work until the weekend. The weekend means I get to spend time with you, and that's something I look forward to every day. Loves.

Text Messages

Whenever I receive a new text from you during the day, it's like my mind speeds up a bit and wakes up from what I'm doing.

They keep me informed on what you are doing as well as knowing that you are safe. I love them.

Happy V-Day

Just wanted to say Happy Valentine's Day to the love of my life. You mean everything to me. Thank you for being an important and vital part of my life every day. I look forward to tomorrow and the years to come with you.

Amazing

That's what you are described to myself in my head. That's your word. You can do so many things and you impress me every day! You really are amazing, and you make my life more amazing by being in it.

Just You

One thing I was thinking about was the love you have for the Lord and how important that is to me. I don't tell you often enough but I love how you stand up for what is right. Whenever you see something you don't agree with you stand up for what you believe. Not just an important quality to have, but to be such an example for our children is true inspiration. Thank you for standing for what was right when I needed it the most. :)

Your Determination

One thing that you continue to impress me with is your determination to do something. When you find something you are interested in and set your mind to it, you do it.

Words With Friends

I love playing all the Zynga games with you. Words with Friends, Scramble. I love how frustrated you get when I win. It's so dang cute. It reminds me of playing that card game with you all the time and losing. I know you loved beating me!!!

An Open Letter to Linell

Linell,

I've had this idea for sometime now. Opening or starting a blog so I can post my feelings for you. I wanted to start before Valentine's Day and try to chronicle the thoughts I have. My intention is to open a domain that will be available eventually to our children, our Grandchildren and so on, as an online diary of sorts. I never want any doubt about the way I feel about you or how often I think about you.

This year will mark 13 years of marriage. It has been and continues to be a wonderful and learning process with you. I look forward to an eternity by your side as my best friend. I know when we first were married I told you that you were a great friend, but not my best. I always love to give you a hard time no matter what, but I can honestly say now, you are and have been my best friend for years. I love hearing your voice, reading your emails, responding to your texts every day. Just to know you think about me leaves me feeling excited and joyful. You know me better then any of my other "best" friends.

So today, I am grateful for your friendship. Thank you Linell.
